FAQ
Questions, answered.
The questions we hear most often about our process, our services, and what it’s like to work together.
What happens in the first meeting?
We start with a short Establish call — about 20 minutes — to get to know each other and understand what you're looking for. There's no cost and no obligation. If it makes sense to keep going, we schedule a longer Explore meeting to dig into your full financial picture.
What does your process look like?
We call it "Think On It." It has three steps: Establish (a 20-minute introductory conversation), Explore (a 60-minute deep dive into your goals and finances), and Equip (we present your plan — then ask you to take a full day to think it over before deciding). We'd rather you be confident than quick.
Who do you typically work with?
Two kinds of clients: business owners — including those planning a sale or transition through our Exit on Main work — and retirees or families who want a complete financial plan and steady guidance. If that's not you, we're still happy to point you in the right direction.
What happens after I become a client?
Onboarding starts with a 90-day MAP to get your plan implemented and your accounts organized. From there you move into our ongoing service model, with regular reviews, proactive planning, and our biweekly newsletter to keep you informed along the way.
Do you give tax or legal advice?
No. Neither Glenn Financial nor the CFD Companies give tax or legal advice. We coordinate closely with your CPA and attorney — and can help you find one if you need it — but those professionals remain your source for tax and legal guidance.
What is Exit on Main?
Exit on Main is our work with business owners who are thinking about what comes next — preparing the business for a future sale or transition, and making sure your personal financial plan is ready for life after the exit.
